Rochester, N.Y.-- In response to recent developments locally, the Rochester Labor Council and Occupy Rochester will be hosting a rally and march today. The rally will begin at 4 pm in Washington Square Park and proceed to City Hall. Jim Bertolone, president of the Rochester and Genesee Valley Area Labor Federation condemns the arrest of 32 citizens Friday night, in what he describes as peaceful protesters exercising their first amendment rights.

"The Labor movement in this city and state will continue to support the cause of the 99 percent of Americans until the needs of our citizens are addressed," Bertolone said.
