Rochester, N.Y.-- Local 828 activists met yesterday evening to share information and develop strategies about health and safety issues in their workplaces. The committee discussed several events planned, including an ergonomics workshop, Fire Safety Week programs and an elder care seminar tentatively scheduled for Spring of 2013. Additionally, members re-visited best practices and talked about improving labor-management relationships.
